Slaves! Maybe My Ancestors Were More Humble (Response to Dennis)

Dennis...first of all, I am more Cherokee /Irish.! My ancestors had servants...they were not abused. They were well taken care of. Of course my ancestors did not live in Alabama... but in Virginia..so just maybe my ancestors had more "humble ways". You cannot judge other's by a "bad apple" in Alabama at that time. Not all Slaves as you call them were mistreated. Shame on you for blaming eveybody for what somebody did there!

By the way...my ancestors (humble ones) provided servants children with schooling.
