Ianus, I guess the first question is, does the U.S. maintain an arsenal of nuclear tipped missiles? Frankly, I don't think it is necessary. Here is why: the satellite that went haywire is going to be shot down by a missile. This is a very good demonstration of what can be used as a missile shield. As for the original intent of my first post, the introduction of what is objectively true is the entrance of something that is quite strong. Ergo, the use of the term "nuclear".
