This fixation with life after death makes islam and muslims so dangerous and idiotic.

The islamic god is incapable of guiding mankind. Islam (=submission) means mental slavery. A god who wants humans to be mental slaves, a god who manipulates human s through intimidation - that is no good god. The grand claims which islam makes about islam are meant to manipulate human beings and misuse them for a totalitarian and imperialst ideology. Islam cannot convince those who are intelligent, independent-minded and self-respecting and hence islam takes to violence. Islam-based societies are proving this everyday. No religion or ideolgy relies upon violence and intimidation, feudalism and street gangs as much as does islam. If you have failed to notice that then do make an earnst effort to study the actual workings of islam-based societies. Merely saying islam is going through difficult times is dishonest.
