Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: brohi, let me help you find a state

Submitted by brohi (Pakistan), Feb 25, 2008 at 03:15

Infedal ,

I am not talking about the mobs taking arms against the peaceful peaople and in some cases the minorities, I am talking about the state laws and the constitutions of the countries and the UN Charter ,I still await any single example in the world which prohibits minorities from practicing their own religion.

Sudan and Saudi laws do not prohibit minorities from practicing their religion and the constitutionsof both the states prohibit attrocities against minorities. Its the mobs and fanatics which comit the wrongs against the humanity and the minorities and even against the political rivals in the name of religion or sect. So lets talk about the peacefull co-existence and let every body do their job whether religious or non-religious.

By the way there are hundreds of comunities( belonging to different religions-even jews) are living peacfully in Pakistan and state laws protect them.
