There is truth, and there is truth. The first kind, shown in people who command respect, or who deserve to command respect, is the version of truth that is timeless and timely (in other words, its veracity is not dependant on anything else). Then there is the other definition which is easier to work with, and is the definition exploited by the Marauders.

Truth depends on various variables. Well, the bad habits of Western culture are becoming more malignant than just being annoyances. Either we live in the more demanding definition of truth, or we wind up in dhimmitude. Because we are at that fork in the road, and these are the only options.
