Four Million In Chains??? Dennis!!!

Dennis...this ( The only "state affair" the South was fighting for was the right to hold four million men, women and children in chains in the name of Christianity. ) is farfetched I do believe. As my ancestors had "servants"...they were not called slaves. As a matter of fact the "servants" were provided with home for their family, provided with clothes, shoes and plenty of food on table. When they became sick it was my G>>father who made sure they were attended to with medical need's. They were not mistreated. And if you go back to the beginning when "servants" (I prefer to call..).some call them slaves were sold , you will find that it was Muslims who sold them out from their land.

Anyway....4 million in chains???
