Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: David, every village has one, in the happiest villages everyone else just smiles and carries on.

Bos, I appreciate the words. It is just that, in matters of grafting shoots of dead branches onto natural law, does not serve the best interests of Great Britain. (In this case). As you can tell, I am a devotee of C.S. Lewis, Malachi Martin, and Max Dimont. (Throw in some Shakespeare, and essentially one has identified the people with the greatest influences on the "I-Thou" relationship that I pursue.

I won't refer to the one you refer to as pursuing a comedy routine, but as someone as dangerous as John Dewey, Bertrand Russell, or Oliver Wendell Holmes in the sight of Mortimer Adler. He displays some knowledge of Spinoza, but greater discernment is needed because there are matters which are out of bounds that Spinoza ruled to be in bounds - and Spinoza does not have the final word. My conclusion regarding Shariah is that it is driven by the climate and geography of the Arabian Peninsula, and I would not recommend the Arabian Peninsula for a hospitable place to live.

Therefore, when I look to be flummoxed, I look at my words and then evaluate them. When they check out, I evaluate the words of who is challenging me. I then come back, and well the point-counter point exchange is escalated. There is form, and there is what is inside the form. Humans are both material and spirit, and when this is disputed, I try my hardest to take an aerial view of what is going on so that all is in view. When this is rebuffed, I see my efforts as being lost.
