Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: Time to mobilize at the grass roots.

"A massive grass roots effort is needed to wake up the population at large on the threats our western civilization is facing within and without from an ever more intrusive and financially powerful Islam."

This is the solution. Americans stopped the blanket amnesty that the govt tried to repeatedly pass last year. Millions of calls were made, faxes and emails sent telling the asses in power that we will NEVER accept amnesty again.

Congress and the senate could not do any work requiring telephones and faxes as they were inundated with communication. We demanded the enforcement of law and we defeated the idiots in office. There is no reason you cannot do the same. Bombard your representatives with millions of calls, faxes etc every day until they get the message. Force them into understanding that Britain is for the British and physically remove them from their offices if needs be. You do not need to beg to save Britain.

It is your country not the politicians country. By now you would have recognized that the labor party and conservative party preach different platforms but execute pretty much the same. Britain like the US needs a third party. "An international political party that transends all western nations must be fomed as soon as possible to energize the political class into confronting the enemy." This is the most dangerous route one can take. You are essentially propagating a centralized power where your influence is more limited, where politicians are even more removed from the people. This is certainly a road to greater destruction of your independence as a nation.

If you have little influence in Britain today you will have none under this centralized party. "The present path of blind appeasment by our leaders who sense no urgency from an amorphous base must be reversed by strong political militancy by we the people. It is time to act now before we face an irreversible situation. We are on the verge of a social/political 9/11 in the western world if we do not wake up and face our enemy immediately." Just be very careful with approach as it can lead to mob rule, the solution here is worse than the problem. All that you need is a committed few to harass the politicians, to hold rallies, to educate the nation and to be very persistent.

If that is what you mean by acting now then I am in total agreement. Tolerance has become a excuse for laziness and is a non judgmental philosophy at a time when it is most dangerous, at a time when wisdom is needed. Intellectual laziness and the projection of guilt onto those that love their nation by the "tolerant", when there should be none, will destroy your liberty. Chamberlain was an idiot and his appeasement cost Britain far more than it should have bourne.

Liberals in both the Labor and Conservative parties, if left unchecked, will result in a greater price being paid than that of world war 2. The muslim fanatics do not care about using women and children as suicide bombers, they have no scruples, not limits which is a very dangerous enemy. Remember however that they are also cowards of the highest order as they use others to pay the "price". True men and christians offer to die for their values and beliefs, we do not ask others to pay the price for us.
