The muslim is indoctrinated that islam had all the perfect solution for all the problems of all the times way back in the 7th century.

Is there any muslim who has escaped (or can escape) this mindset?

What muslims like to believe is god's word (i.e. the kuran), that is in reality a man-made book and the one who usurps the power of interpretation and execution misuses it as per his desires and needs. The kuran contains contradictions and ambiguities, mistakes and even idiocies (the muslim is programmed to deny this vehemently, he may even become violent to show off his love for the kuran) and hence the islamic world is a source of nuisance to everyone.

Islam means submission, that is mental slavery, and hence islam is incompatible with honesty. If Mansoor can understand this without being angry, arrogant, conceited or irrational then he will come a bit further on his quest for a better world. A muslim just does not have the ability and the permission to be honest about the failures of islam and muslims. And he will never have this ability and permission.
