Rebecca, you are spot on. Just a slight correction however. Fascism is not a right wing philosophy (if you are implying such). Fascism and socialism/communism are simply different extremes of liberalism. There is the tendency from the ignorant to think that fascism is a right wing philosophy, it is not.

Read the 25 Nazi Platform points and you will clearly see that they are left wing beliefs. Further if you read the works of Mussolini, they are also very left wing views. Much of his works was based on the views of Woodrow Wilson and he was a true fascist who fortunately was not able to permanently damage US internal policies.
