The Rich Owe/Own No Allegiance To Either Party, Only to Their Wealth Which is Their God

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: LAY OFF THE RELIGION

Say, the last I heard, the Rockefellers were Democrats. So are the Kennedy's and those in their social circle. The Republican's hold no monoply on making money off the little guys. And inspections of religion in politics has been relegated to being a litmus test of ideologies, so it cannot be let go as a reason someone might vote one way or another.

Having one's religious affiliation associated with the parents in childhood usually clashes with later philisophies and can be damaging intellectually, no doubt about that. And many have forsaken the ideologies of the parents, if for no other reason than to have focus for the ensuing rebellion of the generation gap.

What is germain to the issue of Sen Obama's allegiances comes from his own associations and his own words. They have been coolly spun out to resemble something the Democratic party understands is necessary to win. But the Democratic Party, just as savvy as the Republicans Party, knows that whatever is promised is not necessarily delivered. But then there is the worse to be considered, that it is imperative to be careful in what one wishes for, that they just might get it, to their extreme detriment.

There is the final observation, though, that has not been settled, no matter what the spin might say about it. Beyond the single (but questionable document), Sen Obama has yet to prove unequivocably his place of birth. If he cannot prove it (and it a very real possibility he personally cannot), then a better investigation of the record than the one allegedly already performed needs to be done in order to finally quiet the question that is more important than whether he is of one religion or another. The Constitution makes no distinction of religious affiliation, but it says definitely the candidate must be a natural born citizen, something yet to be fully determined about Sen Obama.
