What exactly is your point?

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: Three-quarters of a TRILLION dollars in foreign aid - that's Obama for you

So what if the US is already the largest giver of foreign aid in the world? What does christianity teach us? That we help those in need; up to what point? Maybe, according to you, up to the point when our egos tell us that we have given so much!

As for the relative silence from the moslems, i sincerely think that some comments are better left within our hearts. Because, i would be totally surprised if a single resonable moslem came out and openly laid a claim on Obama as belonging to islam. The president of the United States being a muslim can never add any amount of value to what islam is, currently in the world, moreso if it is a passive muslim like Obama, so to say.

I want to think that the point of being a moslem being loitered over this and countless many other pages worldwide is really irrelevant for the debate today and encourage us all to discuss more objective issues that will propell the US ahead. If you think otherwise, imagine what the situation would be if someone came up and said that Obama, you are a jew. Back off!
