"Involuntary Global Poverty Act" - good title, Sofa Sogood

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: The Involuntary Global Poverty Act Will Accomplish Nothing But Harm for Americans, and Will Not Help The World's Poor Anyway

Another description - "Complete Global Poverty Act" - which is what would happen if Obama and his ilk got their way. Take from the rich, until everyone is poor.

The "thing" has not even been voted on in the Senate - Obama's ideas (he introduced the bill in Dec. 2007) sure are constructive and readily applied - the last up-date I could find - May 3rd -

Last April 24, it was "reported" by Sen. Biden, with ammendments and an amendment to the title; it was "added to the calendar". It was then referred to the Senate Foreign Relations. At the following page, click on "Show All Actions (5 actions)" -

If you want to find more info., try and Google "Global Poverty Act Senate 2433" - the number of the bill.
