DrussJudge- afraid of Obama? No, afraid of the naivete of the American people

Hi Dross Judge,

Thanks for your comment, no doubt intended to get a rise... I am not afraid of Obama, he is just a run of the mill consummate politician who says whatever he needs to (and admittedly has a gift for hyperboly) to get himself elected.

His actions on the other hand are negligible, and I have no doubt that clear thinking Americans will see through their delusions and false hopes come November. I am troubled though by the thought process of democrats who are looking for some kind of 'revolution' and pin their hopes on such a charlatan. It is always puzzling to those of us who see reality clearly, who listen to the words, who research the deeds, to watch those who swirl up in their ideological fog and chant empty phrases that have no meaning or consequence in the real world. Kind of reminds me of the 'opiate of the masses', to turn a quote on its head...

While I may have lost hope that democrats have the ability to discern reality, I am quite confident that the Americans, when it comes to the general election, will send this fog into the ether.

Good luck to you, and may the best man (or woman) win!
