The Involuntary Global Poverty Act Will Accomplish Nothing But Harm for Americans, and Will Not Help The World's Poor Anyway

in response to reader comment: "Global Poverty Act" - we would be subject TO the U.N. for this

Jennifer,

You misunderstand why I brought up George Soros. He is behind and provides much of the funds to promote Obama. He says out loud what Obama believes, but is hiding. Blatant Anti-Americanism. If anyone wants to know what Obama really believes in, just Google George Soros.

This is all directly connected to why Obama has been pushing the Global Poverty Act and why he will continue to push legislation that is harmful to the U.S. and its citizens.

Thanks for the correction that the actual amount of the funds involved is $845 BILLION, yes, OVER AND ABOVE what we already contribute, and for the informative link.

Another excellent article on the subject is at

Has this THING passed the Senate? I wasn't able to find this out when I Googled it.

It's a total outrage against U.S. Citizens.

Aside from it being an unholy amount of money.

First and foremost because it takes the voluntary and makes that unconscionable amount compulsory for 13 years into the future, taking totally out of the control of our government whether to continue it or not.

Second, it hands our money over to the corrupt and irrational UN. If any tiny portion of that money actually reaches impoverished people, rather than winds up in the pockets of petty tyrants in those donee countries and thieves at the UN, it will be a miracle.

Third, since it will be the UN that controls distribution rather than the US, the money will very likely be used by radical governments and groups to fund their tyranny, internal wars and propaganda and terrorism, etc. against the US. So our own money, once again, will be very much used against US interests.

Fourth, currently, most US foreign aid is (supposedly) geared to promote economic freedom, good governance and the rule of law. These are what promote growth and reduce poverty. This "donation" will undermine this policy, and have the opposite effect.

Fifth, after reading up on the UN plans, it is already clear that this money will not go into any development projects that will actually help those countries to grow and become self-sufficient in the future. It is slated as a handout, pure and simple. That never helps anything except in the short term and emergencies.

IT HAS NO OTHER PURPOSE AND FUNCTION OTHER THAN TO REMOVE WEALTH AND POWER FROM THE U.S.

THAT'S WHAT THE OBAMA PROGRAM IS ALL ABOUT.

Those who persist in intending to vote for him ought to take his destructive intentions very seriously.
