My brother, why do you speak with such venom. This is not the way to enlighten anyone to the faith. You speak no differently than the individual that you attack. The history that she sees is the history that she sees - no amount of anger or calling of names will change that - I know that you have read some of my postings - I defend the faith but I try not to belittle or insult those who oppose it. Why must we lower ourselves to a level of dogs biting at the heels of each other.

Would this kind of speaking be the words of the Prophet(pbuh) - Is this the face of Islam. Let us speak the truth here - not propoganda. You do not know nor do I that "every" muslim in the world wants Israel destroyed. These are just words - words with no value. Even if this were so it is not in the name of Islam that they wished it destroyed. It is the desire of the people of Palestine to re-establish their state - it is the desire of the leaders of Syria, Egypt, etc. to establish this land - You read, I read the misunderstanding of Islam any time we wish on this page - but is this the fault of the writers - or is it our fault for confusing Islam with the people of Palestines need for relief or the politics that swirl around it.

There is too much of this disguising of politics as religion by both believer and non-believer. I believe if the Prophet (pbuh) were amongst us he would weep over the carnage inflicted upon both believer and non-believer. I think that his anger at those who sow this discord between the people whether believer or non-believer would be great.

If you wish to argue for the people of Palestine then make the argument for them - do not say it is in the name of Islam - it is in the name of the people. Islam does not suffer at the hands of Israel - the people suffer at the hands of Israel. As long as the debate is Islam vs whatever you will be unable to reach a rational settlement of your grievances.

Religion can give a warrior great courage in battle - but it does not necessarily guarantee that he will be wise.
