Dr Pipes is an unique academician with some god gifted acumen. He takes issues from the front and ignites a debate which ultimately culminates in some fruitful result. I was bound to derive this conclusion from my past experiences of articles of Dr Pipes. I have seen very few academicians in my life who are so clear in their perception as well well researched. We have tones of articles of Dr Pipes with useful information, and this is one of them.

This presidential election in America has aroused so much curiousity in the whole world. In my view it has some reasons. People in several part of the world are keen to know what direction America takes in post Bush era. This direction is going to decide the direction of world scenario in this way or the other. In 2004 it was first time when people witnessed polarised polity in America and elections in 2008 will decide whether this trend is going to continue or not.

Although some steps of president George Bush were treated as his folly but I think fault was at the level of implementation not at decision level. Elections in 2008 are crucial in this sense and those decisions could become hostage to ideological inclinations. If democratic dispensation took place and major decisions of George get reversed then definitely it has some impact on global scenarion.

People of this world has keen eye on the presidential election of America but most of them are worried about the fate of war on terror. In some of their comments on this site Muslims have manifested jubiliation for Barak Obama and declared it as a step in direction of Islamic supremecy on America. In this situation Dr Pipes has forcefully made a point with putting a question mark before the character and suitablity of Barak Obama as president.
