I agree with you that any translation of the Holy Quran would incur misinterpretation of the meaning of the Words of God.

This is what Happened to the Bible. however the Arabic speaking people are getting better educated in all aspects of sciences including theology, I, one of those who have studied Islam and Christianity at older age was not educated in religious studies when I was young. translations of the holy quran is becoming more accurate than ever before. but still there will be disputed verses until God clears them for us.

Unlike the Quran, the bible is of Hebrew and Aramaic origins that the original text is not found any where, pits and pieces are found and claimed to be original, but alas, they fail to prove it.

The bible in its current form consists of old testament and new testament, The old testament consist of the Torah and many other books written by others, The Torah is corrupted and forged by the Jews and insertions in it are evident.

The new testament consists of 4 books (John, Matthew, Luke and Mark) and many other books, these books are not witten by Jesus, they are written by the followers of Jesus that include some of the sayings of Jesus Christ. but mainly are stories of the people during Jesus times, also there are other books that tells more stories.

These books were not descended on Jesus by God, they are written locally by local people according to their understanding who are prone to mistakes and misconception.

The fact that there are four books to storytell the events during Jesus, make one wonder why there are have four books?

We know from the Quran that there are two main books for the Jews and the Christians that is the Torah and the Ingeel (Gospel) consecutively, these two books are from God, their words were descended on those two prophets from God, therefore they are holy books. However as proved before, these books were changed and manipulated with by the Jews and by the priests and popes of the church.

would you prefer to follow a proven corrupt book that have many versions and differences in them rather than following one Book (The Quran) that is well knolw it is from God?- would you follow a book that was changed by the church and admitted by them that they changed the Bible? - if you still not convinced, then answer the disputed verses in them. YOU are not ABLE until today to explain the errors.

Even the dispute between the Shia'a and Sunni in their religious teachings does not come near the Quran. The Quran is one for all sects. but it is not so for the christian sects. every christian sect. have their own versions of the bible. They play with God's words as they please, unlike the Quran that never changed from its original form eversince descended on Mohammad

The Bottom line is that the translation of the Quran can change the meaning of the words of God, but it can never change the meaning that God wants to be in its original form in Arabic. that is why we find new meanings every day, and that is why the quran is for all times - unlike the bible which we cannot ever find its original form from God and it is written by humans whom we know are prone to mistakes, and was changed into Latin, English and many other languages and for sure the meaning of the words were changed.
