Why little children attend church

Their parents may compel them to go, they may enjoy going to hang out with other kids, and I used to like the toy cookies and chocolate milk snack and the arts and crafts! I learned early no one wanted to hear my questions, so I'm actually a self-made atheist!

I still read religious books--a lot of them, because I think they all hold some gems as well as all the mind-control, bloodshed, and other things leaders perpetrate in order to seize and maintain power, prestige and wealth for themselves.

Once we get past the cultural indoctrination aspects of religion and get to understanding the practices themselves and how they affect the human brain, I suspect we will hit the motherlode of how to inspire and comfort people--in addition to controlling them, as Moses, Paul, Mohammed, Mao and others all sought to do..
