Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: LAY OFF THE RELIGION

He is not the change we need! The congress is "democrat" therein lies why our country is in the trouble it is today. Thank the Clinton Administration for the leniency with respect to the mortgage companies being given control, something the Bush Administration has had to try to clean up since then.

So when you say, we can't afford to have another "republican" president for another 4 years, I think it would be detrimental to the US to have a Muslim leader with a democratic congress running things. He WAS raised a muslim. We are at WAR with muslims, c'mon people, who is the lesser of the two evils! I'd rather take my changes with McCain, a conservative christian than a so-called christian who says he is no longer muslim, yet everything that has been researched about him points to the fact that he was and probably still is. And according to his book, "From Dreams of My Father ", this quote: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13 when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites".

Also, a quote from his book, "The Audacity of Hope": "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction".

Is this country stupid!
