Obama truth or deception?

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood

Submitted by Paul (United States), May 11, 2008 at 23:45

On his voting positions and those of his opponents, Obama has frequently misstated his own and his opponent's voting record to gain benefit. It has been largely up to the individual voter to do due diligence to determine the facts. The media is overwhelmingly in the Obama camp. The caucuses appear to have been hijacked.

Obama has commented on the countries he has visited during- Pakistan and Hyderabad, India, which he states have given him a global foreign policy view. He also visited Kenya in 2006 while his cousin of the Luo tribe was campaigning on a platform to establish country-wide Islamic law. Obama provided support to his cousin and the race results were disputed leading to bloody riots and conflict. In Indonesia, it is reported that Obama's book the 'Audacity of Hope" is titled 'Jihad - from Jakarta to the Whitehouse'.
