Obama's Early Childhood

Reading some of these posts makes me realize how dangerous hate-mongering is. Do readers really thing that Obama filled out these registration forms himself and wrote the word "Muslim" on the application form? Are we going to be convinced that his present day beliefs are the same as his father's (who he can barely remember) or his step-fathers?

I suggest that people look more deeply. Read his early book "Dreams From My Father". It's a good read. As for the writer who was concerned about early childhood religious influences, I was raised a Roman Catholic. In my late teens (not third grade) I left the Church. People's experiences count. People's beliefs change. To be fearful that Obama has been tainted for life by his early exposure to Islam and that he is a secret Muslim working to bring about the destruction of our country is unfortunate for both Obama and for the person who has this belief. Some will mistrust (or even hate) Obama because he is black. Some because he had a black father and a white mother. Some will mistrust him because he is not all black. Some will mistrust him because he is a Democrat. Some because they believe he is a closet Muslim. Way to go! ...! Then say that you want a better America.
