The Speech Obama Would Never Give

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: The Speech Obama Never Gave

I would be highly surprised to hear Obama give anything close to that speech.

In my opinion, he is too concerned with votes to risk confirming what people have learned about his up-bringing.

With regards to Obama's beliefs on Islam, I would be surprised if he held the view portrayed in the "speech Obama never gave". His twenty-year "close, personnal" friendship with an anti-Semitic, Islamic glad-handing bigot (which was terminated only when it became public and threatened to take away votes); association with terrorist Rashid Khalidi; Obama's participation in the Woods Fund non-profit org. which donated $75,000 to the Arab American Action Network (whose president is Khalidi's wife); Obama's ties to William C. Ayers, a member of the Weatherman terrorist group; and Robert Malley, a principal Obama foreign policy advisor, who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group.

Nope. As time goes by and more info. is revealed (whether Obama likes it or not), "The Speech Obama Never Gave" will become "The Speech Obama Would Never Give". Not in a million years.
