Taqiyya in Use in Islam

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: Taqiyya

Submitted by Susan (Canada), May 20, 2008 at 16:36

If Obama is in truth a Muslim and lying about it, he has the blessing of the Quran to do so. He would be encouraged to lie with words and it would only be considered a sin if he believed it in his heart. A quick study of Al Taqiyya is all that is needed to confirm this.

To be in the race for the Presidency of the world's Super Power and lie about his Islamic beliefs would be seen as the actions of a hero in Islam. He would be highy revered as the most courageous and enlightened Muslim in history.

Before referring to others as racist, one must remember that Islam is a religion, not a race. Saying a person is a racist or is guilty of religious prejudice for attacking Islam is yet another form of Taqiyya.

Religious prejudice against Islam only exists because of the violence committed in its name. It is quite logical to question a religion whose followers burn embassies, riot maniacally about cartoons and murder innocent people.
