So my dear Sohail you can see that in part one we examined al-ayat al-Quraania that pertians to Jesus and it seems that your Allah is saying:

1. The Trinity is: God, Jesus and Mary (sic).

2. Then Muhammad has no clue about the rule of "The Holy Spirit" or al-Rohs al-Quodos (the 3Ulama claimed that this is supposed to be Gabriel, but in the extant 10th century translations of the Bible into Arabic the al-roh al-Quodos came to be the "Holy Spirit" of the Trinity. Notice also that Muhammad/Allah does not provide a definition of what is really al-roh al-Quodos, so you can see that Muhammad had no clue what is the rule of al-Roh al-quodos but he knew that he must introduce it some where.

3. In the Christian religious milieu in the late antique world Christians were debating the nature of the Christ and was he divine/man? And we do have the monophysites, the Jacobites, the Nestorians and the Melkites. Again this is not the subject of this post but what is indeed amazing is that Muhammad's stand on such question betrays his ignorance of what he is really saying and the significance of such debates:

A. He says that Jesus was human.

B. Then he likes what it says in the "Gospel of Thomas" (The Gonstic Gospel, extant in Coptic) and he "borrows" the story of Jesus fashioning birds from clay then _breathing_ life into the birds! But it seems that Muhammad did not realize that by saying so he was also saying that: Jesus must be divine, after all only God can breath life into a bird and if Jesus was only human he would not be able to do so!

C. Then Allah claims to be makkar (deceiver) and he lifted up Jesus and Jesus did not die, and someone else (his like) died on the cross. This means that Jesus did not die and the only being that does not die is: God therefore Jesus is God.

So much for the confused Muslim theology.

So here is your chance to shine ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer!
