Are you serious when you say "So in case of europe the enlightenment happened when they got rid of the religious baggage of judeo-christian traditions and embraced the traditions of islam."?

Perhaps you are wishfully misled by the fact that Islamic influences also played a role (although a rather marginal one) in the European Renaissance. But while the Western Civilization set on a track of openness and learning from any available source, the Islam remained stuck in its initial backwardness. This sad reality is demonstrated daily by the behavior and actions of the Islamists all over the world.
