What falls back on me? what criticism?

Hinduism is the only religion which sanctions racism elaborated so eloquently in its caste system. So this has nothing to do with any sect(s) of hindu religion. what else are you ready to disown?

Hindu religions are not final

so you want us to wait until you finalize it?

1) Islam claims to be the final religion. Consequently islam has to be judged differently, much more harshly.

Islam is the religion. put it to whatever rigorous test you want. Islam is not a label. It's not a name given to it by outsiders, like hindu or christian were. it is a verb which means surrender which you seem to think is mental slavery, but it really means to be at peace and in harmony with yourself and with others.

2) You show the typical muslim habit of countering criticism of islam by pointing out to mistakes and crimes in other religions. That does not make islam better nor does it make islam's crimes and mistakes vanish.

The problems and grotesque practices in the so-called hindu religion (such as the human sacrifice and such as sati; still practiced.) are to show you that when you believe that you have so many gods to please and seek their favor, what it can lead to. religion becomes mere superstition. and you live in constant fear and you get involve in things that will harm not only you but others around you.

3) Hindu religions are not made by one person or one god or one group and hence they are very variegated. No hindu can hence take responsibilty for what is done by another hindu in the name of hindu religions (note the plural). The situation with islam is different. Islam claims it is the one unique final logical perfect revelation of the one and only god. With such a boastful claim you can't go about comparing islam with hindu religions and lower your own supposedly highest status. "Hindu" is a geographical-multi-ethnic term and not a religious one. "Muslim" is a religious ideological term. Understand this crucial difference.

The problem with a hindu is that he needs to project himself as tolerant to beliefs and faiths other than his so that he can demand that others be tolerant of his fairy tales. so he does not have to give reasons for what he believes. so he just says it's a personal matter but then goes about proselytizing his religion in the crudest possible ways.

by the way the term hindu was given by outsiders to you. you don't even know what your origins really are.

4) The treatment that islam gives to ex-muslims proves that islam is a fascist totalitarian ideology. This fact does not vanish if some hindu couple kills a small boy (a terrible deed) for pleasing "goddess Kali". When will you learn to argue as a mature adult responsible self-critical person? It is a sign of lack of maturity if you keep pointing out to the defects in hindu religions and praxis in order to divert attention from islam's evils.

The killing of an apostate is based on a rule of law which is equivalent to the laws of treason every state has today. it doesn't have sanction in the Quran. if you cannot understand this then you must condemn every state that has a law dealing with people guilty of high treason.

what the hindu couple did was part of your religion and not any body else's faith. attacking me personally will not make your religion look good neither will it make islam look bad. so you are the one who for once should show some maturity of intellect and stop ad homin...

i have yet to see any argument from you that is reasonable. all you do is state your opinions which it seems you have formed without any rationale.

5) Many hindu religions, sects and their practices are outright bad. There is no need to mix that up emotionally with islamic evils. Many hindu religions and sects are actually declining - but islam is increasing in number and power - that is far more worrisome. No big human populations in the world are endangered by some hindu couple killing (a heinous deed) a boy for Kali. But islam is threatening millions with fascism, terror, encroachment, aggression and infiltration.

If as you say the hindu religion(s) are declining then you are just trying to divert attention to the fact that actually fundementalist militant hinduism is on the rise.

Islam is fastest growing specially in the west not because it is forcing people to join its ranks but because thinking people find it to be in harmony with reason and sprituality which no other system can give them. and why not. it is the only true religion from the only true god.

You wrote: "islam is liberating. it gives you the confidence to trust yourself to know the truth when you see ." But when I read your posts I come to the conclusion that this is exactly what islam is not doing and cannot do. Islam means submission (mental slavery) - not freedom and dignity and logical thinking. Your language reveals you as the product of a typical muslim mohalla-and-masjid-and -madarassa indoctrination. Don't be like a frog in a well. (you know the story of the "frog in a well" - the kupamanduka tale from hindu India?)

india is not hindu. and as women are liberated from worshipping their husbands, india will become even more non-hindu.

Regarding your question about god and revelation. Person A creates a god and person B gets a revelation from this god. Your question came because you thought persons A and B are one and same. It does not work like that. Some ancient beduins created allah and a beduin named Mohammad got a "revelation" from this allah. This allah is asserted to be also the jewish and christian god. This proves my thesis that A creates a god and B gets a "revelation" from him. The word "revelation" itself is a very complex psychological affair. Dealing with that will not be easy. I am still doing my research into that.

and you think we are eagerly waiting for your research. don't count on it. we have found the truth and we are liberated. the mystery has contacted man many times in the human history and the last message is the Quran.

I am an independent fearless unorthodox path-breaking thinker - not a muslim (=mental slave).

what self-delusion! path-breaking thinker! start doing some original thinking and maybe you will start moving.
