Great taxonomy

in response to reader comment: 13 Types of Muslims : Your Comments are welcomed.

Chanakya Acharya provided a great taxonomy of Muslims. But no taxonomy is perfect. I tried to fit people like Fareed Zakaria into it. While Zakaria can be fitted in category 11 (Muslim Intellectuals), people like him have a special trait. They can talk for hours without openly praising Islam but in each word that they speak, the will exonerate Islamic militant, terrorists and 'freedom fighters'. These people are the apologists for militancy. They will use western terminology, will vouch for freedom and choice but very quietly exonerate militants for all blame and establish moral equivalency between those who kill in the name of Islam and those who die defending themselves from them.
