Around 25%-30% of British Muslims polled supported the tube bombings, saying they were justified.

Although the polls you cite may have been wrong, it may well be that prior to the bombings, few were in favor of waging Jihad in Britain simply because the idea was strange to them, given that Jihad wasn't (visibly) being waged but that once the attacks took place, they felt a need to support the perpetrators and in so doing, to be in favour of terrorist attacks.
