Reader comment on item: Trouble in Londonistan
in response to reader comment: For Sohail and contradictions in the Qur'an! Solution? call it abrogation!

Dhimmi no more you said the following:

The Qur'an also has many contradictions.

Dhimmi well I am going to explain the contradictions you picked:

Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfil their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him). (Quran 9:4)

Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Quran 9:5)

And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who know not. (Quran 9:6)

Dhimmi no more the verses above were revealed only to Muhammad (pbuh) when he was fighting the pagans of Arabia.

Dhimmi no more than here verses in the Quran which say people can believe whatever they want and killing is forbidden:

There is no compulsion in religion. (Quran 2.256)

Whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. (Quran 18.29)

Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. (Quran 109:6)

(do not] kill yourselves, for truly Allah has been to you Most Merciful. If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast him into the Fire..." (Qur'an 4:29-30).

"Nor take life - which God has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him nor exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law). (Quran 17:33)

"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. (Quran 5.33)

Now here are verses which tell Muslims to fight in war:

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (Quran, 2:190)"

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).

Now none of these verses contradict with the so called war verses in the Holy Quran because the war verses were only for Muhammad (pbuh) to help him fight his enemies.

Dhimmi no more here are Bible verses which tells Jews and Christians how to fight in a war:

(Deuteronomy 7:2)

God tells the Israelites to kill, without mercy, all the inhabitants of the land that they conquer.

Well Israel is certainly doing that to Lebanon today:

and when the LORD your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them. (Deu 7:2)

(Deuteronomy 12:30)

Kill those of other faiths. Reject their beliefs and do not learn about them. No wonder the Jews rejected Jesus and kill Muslims today:

take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.' (Deu 12:30)

Dhimmi the Bible is more violent than Quran. The Bible has hundreds of contradictions.
