I would like to know from Dr. Pipes, in what ways Islam in India and for that matter in any other part of the world is different than Islam in the Middle East and West? Muslims all over the world behave exactly in the same manner.

Islam has a remarkably similar influence on Muslims worldwide, but there are nonetheless substantial differences. In what ways similar and in what ways different makes for a vast topic, not something I can handle here.
