Anti-Semitism for "beginners"-Part 3

Reader comment on item: Trouble in Londonistan
in response to reader comment: Earth to Moshe: Come in please!

"Presumably there is a language barrier at work here as my initial comment requested evidence to support the claim that Britain was a particularly Anti-Semitic environment. You were unable to do so, Moshe. End of story."

Well, first I must confess that I am following with admiration all your comments on this site, and I consider them most valuable not only because they basically support my positions, but mainly because they are very well formulated, are based on solid facts, are logical, and show a strong moral foundation. On this background, it was indeed disappointing to discover how easily this dark spirit of anti-Semitism could blow out even your fuses. I am sorry that in this "dialogue" between us, I have hardship to understand your reasoning in some places, and not because "there is a language barrier at work here". Again, just to avoid any further misunderstanding, I must emphasize that I absolutely agree with your current summary:

1) The UK is no more anti-Semitic than anywhere else in Europe (if you can prove otherwise I would like to find out more)

2) Genocide is wrong under any circumstances.

But you must pay attention that in none of my previous comments did I claim otherwise. You took the liberty to distort my comments and declare: -"You seem unable to answer the first consistently and you obviously belief that genocide can be justified under certain circumstances. Thank you. End of conversation. We now know your position."

Well, not so fast: before you decide that you know my position, I will try to guide you through it again, slowly and gently, just for the sake of clarity:

a. I never said that UK is more anti-Semitic than the rest of Europe. I am saying just that it is also not less. As obvious and simple this statement is, you are trying by all means to evade it, and to pretend that you are hearing other things. I can understand that you are trying to forget it, but all this cannot change the sad fact that the European culture, including UK, carries a deep rooted anti-Semitic heritage. I can also understand that you don't like this idea, but trying to sweep it under the carpet, and pretending that there is no such thing, cannot change the reality.

b. With your permission, I will repeat my earlier statement/question which said: "If anyone, ever, could have accused the European Jews for anything reminding the current Muslim threat, how many people would have condemned the Holocaust? The whole world would have called it a justified act of self-defense!" to which you replied that "The European Jews have been 'accused' of far worse" and that " the Germans were brainwashed into considering Jewry an even greater menace, than many of us presently do Islam". All this said, I just cannot understand how you inferred that I am the one who can be accused of justifying the Holocaust. The Holocaust could take place in Christian Europe only because its victims were the Jewish People, and on the background of the satanic hatred against Jews ingrained in the traditional Christian culture. You can like it or not, but these are facts. Initially Hitler "allowed" Jews to leave, i.e. did not start their wholesale murder, only after the rest of the "free world" refused to give them refuge. This included of course also blocking their way to find refuge in Palestine by His Majesty's Navy. And all this was done to law abiding, decent people, who's only crime was being Jewish. I am not sure if you grasp this, but this is a terrible stain not only on the "soul" of the Nazi Germany. It is a stain on the whole world which stood by and could have helped, but did nothing.
