Comment to Jesus never claimed to be God:

John 1: In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word WAS God."...."The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us."

Jesus is God. He became flesh to shed blood to pay for YOUR sins. He wants none to perish. Accept Jesus Christ as Your Saviour.
