Masood: Get real or take your pickReader comment on item: Counting Islamists Submitted by Plato (India), Nov 21, 2008 at 19:54 Masood, you wrote: >>Mr. Plato... I want to make my own God as a Hindu. I have a big stone and I want to make my big deity. Now, I start beating this stone with sledge hammer and carve it with a big cutter. At what stage, Mr. Plato, I come to know that, "oh, I should not beat and cut it because it has become my God".<< A Hindu can take a piece of rock and worship it as it is (you really think they are worshipping a bit of rock?? ROTFL) or they can take a sledge hammer and give it some shape, even that of a phallus and worship it (are you shocked or are you rolling on the floor?). Other Hindus can hammer it to smithereens and worship nothing. If that does not make sense see if another form of worship does. A man announces one fine day he has been visited by a giant winged creature, stretching from horizon to horizon, who claimed his name was Gabriel and he had been sent by another creature who claimed his name was Allah and everyone had to worship him after cleaning up some body parts by meaningless genuflections and murmuring words the meanings of which most of them will not know, failing which, unspeakable tortures await them when they die. Many, terrified by this threat, begin to make the strange genuflections, including pointing their behinds towards the sky where Allah is supposed to reside.
