Hi,

I was speaking of we the people of the United States of America. I am an American and I am a Muslim. I have sworn to support and defend all of us against all enemies foreign and domestic. I am prepared to give my life in her defense. We the people of the United States of America denounce hatred and discrimination. Discrimination is anti-American and those who support discrimination fall in the category of domestic and foreign enemies. Don't be one of them. Stop spreading fear and hatred and stop discriminating against people. That is un-constitutional and therefore un-American. Discrimination because of race, religion, sex, creed etc...

Anger at those responsible for the tragic events of September 11 should not be misdirected against innocent individuals because of their religion, ethnicity, or country of origin. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits workplace discrimination based on religion, national origin, race, color, or sex.

Crimes of hatred and prejudice—from lynchings to cross burnings to vandalism of synagogues, churches and mosques—are a sad fact of American history. "Hate crime" did not enter our vocabulary until the 1980s, when emerging hate groups like the Skinheads launched a wave of bias-related crime. We began investigating what we now call hate crimes as far back as the early 1920s, when we opened our first Ku Klux Klan case. Today, we remain dedicated to working with state and local authorities to prevent these crimes and to bring to justice those who commit them. I am a Soldier in the war on terror.
