I replied to this stating that I think all people might be born Buddhists - as I've seen far happier and contented and less confused Buddhists than I have happy and content Muslims.

So how can people be born Muslims if they don't recite the 'Shehada' and make the absurd statement that the caravan raider was God's last prophet?

Keith responded with:
"........We will all submit knowingly or unknowingly my friend."

Well, Keith , if that's the case if everyone is 'submitting' anyway, why have a religion that insists its special way of submitting is supreme? Why do you think that Islam is better than say Buddhism or Raja yoga - have you looked into them for example? I know the Taliban didn't like Buddhism did they - remember the 2,000 year old statues of Buddha

If you didn't like the versions of Christianity you were involved with - just how far did you take your investigation into other traditions ? You don't have to answer of course - but out of the rather large buffet of beliefs on offer - why did you make such a poor choice (IMHO).

The point being that Islam is NOT supreme - despite what what the Koran says and what you might like to think and suggest we believe .

And surely, having been brought up in the West, you MUST have an inkling of how a normal, rational person can easily find shortcomings in it - and especially in the life of its so-called 'prophet'?

You still have not addressed the fact that babies do not recite the 'Shehada' - and therefore cannot be called Muslims - which therefore makes a lie of your claim that we are all born Muslims.

And also, before I forget, how can someone revert back to Islam if they have never been Islamists before?

Which is better : believing in your imagination of God or actually consciously connecting to the force keeping you alive?

Submitting....
