Reader comment on item: Counting Islamists

Submitted by Ramana Rajgopaul (India), Oct 8, 2008 at 02:26

I write from India. The population of Muslims in India is around 150 million. Are you suggesting that 15%. that is 22.5 million Indian Muslims are likely to be Islamists?

I find it totally unbelievable. The same disbelief would apply to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia etc.

In view of this suggested approach, you may wish to revise your views to be more area specific.

You may find it "unbelievable" but you offer no evidence to suggest why I should agree with you.
