Does Arabic Koran useReader comment on item: Counting Islamists Submitted by penelope (Canada), Nov 25, 2008 at 16:50 Wow! It's really interesting to hear someone who can read the original Arabic of the Koran. You're just as annoyed by it as I am by the English version... who knew "God" was so vicious, so angry, and so bloody BORING? There is not one sentence in there that was not obviously written by a power hungry nutcase from 1400 years ago. So God created man and jinn! It would be a fairy tale except its not interesting enough. Poor Mohammed can't even remember names of the main characters, the number of plagues or commandments (notice stealing is NOT on the list?) He can't even decided if "we" or "he" or "I" narrate the thing. Self-contradicting gobbledygood. I think we are on the same page, but since you can read the original Koran, I would like to ask if it is true that the word "say" has been added in front of suras that make no sense. I see it mostly in ones that talk about "I' like sura 113 -" I seek refuge in the Lord of Daybreak..." - I thought it was supposed to be God talking! Thanks.
