sTs: You named them but they are nowhere on the internet

Reader comment on item: Counting Islamists
in response to reader comment: Women in Islam

>>As a Muslim I know it is not right for a woman to cover her face.

Covering faces is an old tradition during Ottoman empire not before.<<

sTs, there is nothing wrong about covering ones face or body. What is wrong is forcing women to do so and decreeing that those who do not do so should be beaten up fined or jailed (Iran, Afghnanistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan…..)

>>The names are not secret, you can find them on internet, how did I know their names? from the news

The lady scientist in Geneve name is - Ibtisam Badreis<<

I cut and pasted this name into Google and this what it came up with: "Your search - Ibtisam Badreis - did not match any documents."

I tried adding Saudi women scientists and came across a single article about a woman with a PhD in computer science.

>>The Lady Doctor who discovered the Cancer Gene is - Khawlah Krie'<<

Again Google came up with this for this famous cancer scientist: "Your search - cancer gene khawlah krie' - did not match any documents".

>>Youngest child inventor - Saudi - IFIA - Faris Al-Khleifi<<

Google brought up this about this inventor's name: "Your search - Saudi IFIA Faris Al-Khleifi - did not match any documents."

Either Google is censoring all articles mentioning the great contributions of Saudi scientists or Saudi Arabia in keeping with its secretive nature is not letting the world know about its top people fearing that they will be tempted by infidel nations for their benefit.

Can you let out the secret internet site that lists these great Saudi scientists? Most of the news I have read is about the dismal state of Islamic science.

Muslim science made great and significant contributions to our knowledge of the universe for about 500 years. But with the Islamic scholars taking a stranglehold on free thinking Muslims science has been in decline and has yet to recover. So long as the Wahabi, Deobandi, Tableeghi types of Islam are not defeated, regrettably, Muslim science will remain in the pits.
