Hi Keith,

I always read your comments and find them very interesting and inspiring

You are right the word is Ayah with ta marbootah at the end and the h is pronounced

dhimmi is not an arab to be a reference.

also it is correct that God (swt) in the Quran talks about the different orbits for the sun, moon, earth and other planets so they don't collide.

It is very clear that it is stated there that the earth is moving in orbit that the sun is moving in different orbit and that the planets are moving each in different orbit.
