Angry EyeReader comment on item: Israel's Predicament at 60: World's worst neighbourhood Submitted by sTs (United Arab Emirates), Aug 25, 2008 at 12:01 Verse 86 in Surah 18 says in Arabic "......Fi Ayn Hami'ah......." Fi - means - in the condition of Ayn - means - EYE Hami'ah - means - Angery If you watch the sunset near the beach or coast you will find the sun looks like a big red eye as if it is angery when setting behind the waters. Whatever the translators did translate this verse, they are wrong Since kid , the expression of person when he opens his eyes wide in anger, people say he is Ham'an from the adjective Hami'ah. You should learn Arabic to understand, don't listen to people Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
