in response to reader comment: GOB ("Gospel of Barnabas") is a forgery

The Gospel of Barnabas, chapter 90 mentions with the following phrase, Believe me that by faith are saved all the elect of God. And it is certain that without faith it is impossible to please God."

Despite The Gospel of Barnabas, chapter 90, mentions that salvation is through faith in Allah, chapter 23 mentions that it was not so since it is mentioned that a person could be deprived of paradise if he or she has not been circumcised with his or her foreskin. The following is the extract:

The Gospel of Barnabas, chapter 23, "And having said this, Jesus sat night unto the mountain which they looked upon.... Then said Jesus: Leave fear to him that hath not circumcised his foreskin, for he is deprived of paradise...."

From the above extracted verse from chapter 23, it would mislead many Muslims to believe that they would not have the access of paradise if they do not receive circumcision with his or her foreskin even though they might have believe in Allah.

Quran 2:25 mentions differently from The Book of Barnabas since it mentions that salvation is by means of faith in Allah and also good deeds instead of whether he or she does receive circumcision from young age. The following is the extract:

Quran 2:25 (Mohsin Khan translation), "And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e. in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives) and they will abide therein forever."

Quran 2:62 even mentions that Jews, Christians, Sabians could enter into paradise as long as they do good deeds. The following is the extract:

Quran 2:62 (Mohin Khan translation), "Verily! Those who believe and those who are jews and christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and Does righteous good deeds shall have their rewards with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."

The Gospel of Barnabas, chapter 23, even mentions that Adam did break a piece of rock and seized his flesh to cut it with the sharp edge of the stone. However, Genesis 2-3 in the book of Torah do not support Adam did receive circumcision by foreskin.

All these prove the fact that the Gospel of Barnabas is a book of lie.
