"India is like a banner, which only Jesus Christ can win" -- Keshab Sen (1838-1884), founder of Prarthna Samaj. Sen had contact with (and was influenced by) William Carey, but never surrendered his heart to Jesus, and had made this statement after his first reading of Carey's Bengali translation.
