in response to reader comment: You too need to think soberly before posting

Your post raises more questions than it tried to answer, while saying that, '.....US' use of nuclear weapons on Japan--forgetting that the two countries were in a state of active war at the time, and Japan was dithering too long about accepting the inevitable....... ' If that is the reason to Bomb a country then after II world war hundreds of occaisions arrived where this type of bombing should have been done. Why Russia was not bombed during cold war period by US? Why Pakistan shhould not be bombed for its war against India during all these years? Why Israel, Egypt, Palestine should not be bombed? Why China should not be bombed while at war with India? War is not the only reason but it America's show of its Nuclear power upon innocent people, to give massage to World that dont rise & challenge its supremacy, otherwisw face the consequences of death, crppling, insanity, starvation etc.

Any way I am an Indian & am proud of this, and you are bound to sing the song of American Hegemony while sitting there 'Devasahayam'. Good Luck, but start thinking positively instead singing the song of 'World's worst friendly Dictator'
