How to celebrate Israel at 60: 1) retake Sinai 2) Nuke Tehran

Dr Pipes

Excellent comparison between Pakistan & Israel - yet can you tell me why the leader of Pakistan was so welcomed on the David Letterman Show and the John Stewart Show? Would have Ariel Sharon or the ghost of Golda Meir been so welcome on the shows of those two vaudevillians?

Maybe you will be shocked at my suggestions to celebrate Israel at 60 ( "Shishim" in Hebrew) but I cannot see how Israel will thrive if these two objectives are not achieved.

Sinai: territory that arab muslims have done nothing with in 30 years, selling oil on the market, weaning itself from the American breast and maybe using these funds to create sovereign wealth funds (SWF). Any threats by egypt will be met by assaulting their Aswan dam, source of 80 - 100% of their electric power.

Nuking Tehran ( and other sites in Iran): Clearly the only enemy remaining that could eliminate Israel. By 2009 they will have the means to do so, if not already.
