G.K. Chesterton: "When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing — they believe in anything."

In our time, the 'anything' that people will believe in is too often Islam. Europe by degrees is being transformed into Eurabia. Iran threatens nuclear holocaust. Saudi Arabia funds the building on thousands of Wahabi-mosques while inoculating the institutions of Western civilization with Islam-slanted learning materials.

In the media, in the popular culture, and in the United Nations Islam can do no wrong. And the West can do no right. Critical analysis of Islam's devious war against the West is only marginally legal in many Western countries, and frankly illegal in others. So we are being led inexorably to our own destruction while passively allowing ourselves to be muzzled and blinded in the process. The core of the problem as I see it is not that Islam strives to dominate the world.

The problem is that we have somehow lost the wherewithal to fight back. It is one thing to get punched in the nose by your enemy. It is quite another to then apologize for your nose getting in the way of your enemy's fist. Unless we stand up for those cherished values that define Western culture we shall continue to get punched in the nose until we eventually bleed to death.
