Is your choice of "Devasahayam" related to Devasahayam Pillai, the Christian martyr of the 18th century, in the southern part of India who was born a Hindu?

I read your 13:20 post.

Yes, I agree, through God's Word, the Bible, and belief in Christ and what He did on the Cross, we can have a personal relationship with God. The Bible teaches that it is the grace of God that matters; we can love Him only because He first loved us.

We accept the Free Gift of God's Son, by which we receive eternal life.

Islam is about gaining Allah's favor through your own works. Maybe you will get into Paradise.

Unless you are a Muslim who dies while killing the kaffir. Then you are absolutely receive Paradise; it is "binding on Allah" -Qur'an 9.111

There it is again - another example of diametric opposition regarding the Qur'an and the Bible.

One states God sent His Son (who is God) to the Cross as our substitute; He paid the price for our sins, so that we, by faith in Him, recieve eternal life. Guarenteed.

The other states if you die, while killing in Allah's name, you will receive Paradise. Guarenteed.

Odd.

What you pointed out regarding Muslims believing that Alexander the Great was a Muslim - strange. I had never heard that before.
