The comparison of Israel with pakistan is correct because both states came about because of Religion. Any other comparisons than that would be a travertsity. pakistan has been at war with Insia in 1948, 1965 and 1971. Then we have had a serious skirmish in 1999 and in 2002, the two countries nearly started a nuclear holocaust when India massed a million men on Pakistan's borders and threatened to invade Pakistan but found that 375,000 Pakistani troops ready and in positions to not only repilse an attack but take the fight into Indian territory.

Both israel and Pakistan are nuclear weaponised states. Isreal was helped by the French and came became a undeclared part of the USA. Pakistan was right from the word go, aligned with the West but it was a relationship that was disposable. Pakistan wa a convenience for the West always and it still is and became a nuclear state despite the West's sanctions on it. pakistan has been a frontline state for the last 30 years for no reason because Pakistan went to war.

Israel need the West to survive. Pakistan needs to get rid of the West to survive. Today Pakistan is in a war that is not of it's doing but are fighting America's war and being badmouthed about it also in Afghanistan. But there is a problem for Israel and tht is they don't have strategic depth to fall back on and they are at sea about fighting a war like the Lebanon/Israeli war of 2006 where the Hezbollah stopped Israel and bombed its cities.

Both Israel and Pakistan are stuck in an environment that offers no worthwhile solutions because neither country can control its destiny. That is where the tragedy lies. Both countries are under siege becasue of conditions that are inimical to them. Both can end their state of siege by recognising what they want and not what others want to give them.
