Look up the internet about the history of samaritans.

You will find that they lived in Girzim ever since Joseph times, when they departed the tribes and went to live there.

Girzim is their dwelling eversince Joseph time until today, they are counted 700 persons today living in the mount Girzim, (in Present Nabulus)
