Once again, Israel forever

Reader comment on item: Israel's Predicament at 60: World's worst neighbourhood

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), May 8, 2008 at 09:54

Throughout the centuries, Israel has faced obliteration time and time again, but no enemy has ever succeeded in destroying it, because it will always be under God's watchful eye, even though Israel disobeyed over and over. There are numerous books in the Scriptures attesting to the sovereignty of Israel and its place in the world forever, and the love of God for His people. From the blessings given to Abraham, through the Revelation of John, it is evident that Israel is here to stay. Although the Jews were scattered throughout the world, they will return someday when all Israel will be restored.

Today most Jews do not know from which tribe they originated because of this scattering. Israel may well be the "child with glasses" but because it will not bow down to the bullies of the world, it has shown its strength of character in the past, in the present, and the future of Israel is secured.
